Join the GreenWeek
On 24, 25 and 26 April, the TU Delft campus will be colored green. GreenTU, the green student initiative, is part of making TU Delft Campus more sustainable. During the GreenWeek, GreenTU and various student associations organize different events to which every student is welcome. The three-day event will shows different stories on sustainable solutions and what sustainability means for us, as people and as TU Delft. Monday
On Monday 24 April, the campus is dedicated to collaborations with the faculties. At lunch, you can enjoy a Vegan lunch, at the Vegan Food Stands, nearby the Aula. Afterwards, there will be a Lunch Lecture by the student association LIFE with the topic ‘Campina and sustainability’.
Later in the afternoon, TPM organizes a bite & drinks for employees of the OR. Afterwards, you can put on your trainers, because there will be a charity run for Unicef Delft. This will take place between 17 – 19 o’clock.
Tuesday
On Tuesday 25 April, you can choose between two activities in the afternoon. In Aula, room B, study association VvTP will start a lunch lecture with a free vegan sandwich. They will tell you more about Exasun. You can also go to a workshop Visible Mending by study association Hooke. This will allow you to refurbish old clothes.
After this, you can go to the debate of the week. ORAS is the largest faction in the TU Delft student council. They will open a debate with Manon Bloemer - VNCI Director TU Delft, Rosanne Hertzberger - columnist NRC and Charlotte Braat - Extincion Rebellion Activist. Wednesday
On Wednesday 26 April, the day will start with a workshop by GreenTU. They will be happy to talk more about 'Taking the Heat'. Here you will have an open conversation about climate change. After that, there will be two Lunch Lectures at 3Me organized by ORAS, Technologisch Gezelschap and LIFE. One lecture focuses on Clinical Engineering. The other will focus on Mechanical and Marine Engineering. In addition, you can come by TPM all afternoon to swap clothes you no longer wear. A real clothesswap! Don't forget to bring clothes!
Afterwards, s.v. LIFE and Technologisch Gezelschap (TG) will conclude with a Vegan Cooking Workshop at Sportcentre X at 7pm.
