Short Scientific work at TU Delft

From 1 February 2023, the TU Delft Short Scientific Work Scheme will come into force as part of TU Delft's Open Access policy. Authors or co-authors of a ‘short scientific work’ for which the research has been wholly or partly financed with Dutch public funds have the legal right to make it available to the public free of charge within six months of publication. The scheme ensures that the work is made available automatically by TU Delft through the TU Delft Repository. A successful pilot for this purpose has previously taken place. The arrangement applies to the work of employees, and will in principle also apply to guests and secondees.

Opt-out
The author or co-author of short scientific work has the right to opt out of making it available via the TU Delft Repository. An opt-out can be requested for each individual short publication or generically for all short scientific works by the author in a timely manner, before the date of availability.
