New Director of Delft Cleanrooms
The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science is pleased to announce that Pieter Telleman has started as Director of Delft Cleanrooms starting from May 1st. Initially, he will work part-time alongside his current job at MESA+ in Twente, but will be available full-time for this position from August 1st.
Dean of the faculty of EEMCS Lucas van Vliet: “Telleman brings a wealth of experience as a former Director Cleanroom at the Technical University of Denmark in Copenhagen and at MESA+ in Twente.” In this latter role, Telleman was responsible for many multidisciplinary and inter-faculty activities, making him a valuable addition to our team.
An important task for Telleman, building on his current work, is to merge the two Delft Cleanrooms (Kavli NanoLab and Else Kooi Lab) to form a broad cleanroom organization for the entire university. This new organization will move in the coming years to new facilities on Campus Zuid. Additionally, as Director Campus Baseline Lab, he will be responsible for all internal users of the cleanroom facilities. Finally, as a quarter maker for the Business Lab, Telleman will also focus on attracting users from the Delft ecosystem, also from outside the university.
"We look forward to Telleman's arrival and are confident that he will take the cleanroom facilities of TU Delft to even greater heights."
