In 2012, Joost van der Neut received his Ph.D degree (cum laude) in Applied Geophysics from the Department of Geoscience and Engineering at Delft University of Technology, where he was supervised by Kees Wapenaar and Evert Slob. His research interests include wave propagation, imaging and inversion.
Joost was awarded a Veni Personal Grant from the Dutch Research Council (NWO) in 2013 and continued with several postdoctoral studies at TU Delft, including a project at the Department of Imaging Physics with Jacob Fokkema and Peter van den Berg in 2017. Since July 1st 2022, he is working as a postdoctoral researcher at ImPhys with Eric Verschuur.
