Alim Yolalmaz joined ImPhys as Post-Doc

Alim Yolalmaz is a post-doctoral researcher in Kalkman Research group supervised by Prof. Jeroen Kalkman. He received his Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees in Micro and Nanotechnology from Middle East Technical University in Turkey. He has a B.Sc. degree in Physics Engineering with a double major in Mechanical Engineering at Gaziantep University in Turkey.

He graduated first in the class and second in Engineering Faculty in 2012. 

Alim focused on optical imaging, holography, wavefront shaping, digital optics, nonlinear optics, optical sensors, and laser spectroscopy during the graduate period. He was honored with M. Sc. Thesis of the Year Award by Middle East Technical University in 2017. He is going to research optical imaging using optical diffraction tomography and optical coherence tomography in Kalkman research group.
