The project of Delphi Consortium, Cyprus Institute (CI) and eight European partners has been granted. They will receive funding for two PhD students for their project: “Enabling the next generation of computational physicists and engineers (ENGAGE)”.
Since a few years the Delphi Consortium has started a collaboration with Cyprus Institute (CI) for the high-performance computing implementation of Delphi-developed algorithms. Together with CI, TU Delft has submitted a proposal to the EU with 8 other partners in Europe on “Enabling the next generation of computational physicists and engineers (ENGAGE)”,
TU Delft and CI will each get a PhD student working on Delphi-related topics, while Delphi is co-funding 40% of the costs of these PhD students. It is expected that these students will start end of 2021.
