Mauro Conti elevated to IEEE Fellow

Recognizing his achievements the IEEE Fellow Committee has elevated Mauro Conti to IEEE Fellow with the following citation:

• for contributions to communications network security

His research work is in the area of Cybersecurity, with particular focus on Network Security, as recognized with the IEEE Fellow nomination, including security of Wireless Systems, Software Defined Networking, Information Centric Networking, and Internet of Things. Prof. Mauro Conti contributed also significantly to the security of Mobile Systems and Cyber Physical Systems, including drones, industrial and automotive sector. The IEEE Fellow nomination adds to several other prestigious fellowhips prof. Conti received over time, like a EU Marie Curie Fellowship, a German DAAD Fellowship and the nomination as Fellow of the Young Academy of Europe. He is among the most impactful scientists in Cybersecurity with a high number of citations and visibility in international media.
