Mark Schelbergen is a PhD researcher at the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering. His PhD project is on airborne wind energy (AWE), in which he is developing better methods for calculating energy production metrics of AWE systems that use kites to harness the energy in the wind at high altitudes.
