Council of Europe Recommendations on Human Rights Impacts of Algorithmic Systems

On the 8th of April, 2020 the Council of Europe published their recommendation on the human rights impacts of algorithmic systems. The recommendation urges member’s of the Council of Europe to ensure that any design, development and ongoing deployment of algorithmic systems and AI occur in compliance with human rights and fundamental freedoms. The recommendation was drafted by the group of experts convened by the MSI-AUT and TU Delft was represented there by Seda Gürses.
