Yang Song joined ImPhys as guest researcher
Dr. Yang Song is an associate professor from the Department of Information Physics & Engineering, Nanjing University of Science & Technology, China. He is part of the Laser Measurement and Information Perception group who works on developing laser-based sensors and measurement techniques, including smart laser radars, micron particle counters and laser-based probing techniques. His research aims at reconstructing 3D distributions of aerodynamic fluids with optical and machine vision techniques. Presently he is working on developing tomographic techniques, including Flame Chemiluminescence Tomography for 3D flame structures and concentration distributions and Background Oriented Schlieren Tomography for 3D density distributions of fluids in wind tunnels.
