Adib Ridwan joined ImPhys as a PhD student
Ridwan will work on the Ultrasonic Sensor system development for cancer cell detection. His supervisors are Martin Verweij, Nico de Jong and Paul van Neer.
Md Ridwan Adib received his B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC), Bangladesh in 2015. He was an affiliated assistant researcher for two years in the field of MEMS Technology and got his M.Sc. degree in 2020 from Ajou University, South Korea. During his master’s studies, he worked on the development of different research projects on Gas Sensors, SAW sensors, Humidity Sensors, Underground Sensors, Temperature Sensors, and Microheater. His research activities have included synthesis of 2D & 3D materials, characterization of their morphology, composition and crystallinity using various microscopic and spectroscopic techniques. His expertise also includes nanoscale & microscale device designs, simulations, fabrications and characterizations.
With his experiences and knowledge in the MEMS field, he is now more focused to work on Ultrasonic Sensor system development for Cancer Cell detection at the Imaging Physics department.
