IAWA scholarship 2019 for Julia Radius

Master student Julia Radius has been awarded the IAWA scholarship 2019 for TU students. This scholarship is given annually by International Aviation Womens Association (IAWA) to support women pursuing studies in aviation or aerospace related fields. In October, Julia went to Lima (Peru) to attent IAWA’s Annual Conference, were she and five other students received their scholarships.

“I had the opportunity to meet a lot of inspiring women in Lima. In a few days, I have learned about aircraft leasing markets, cargo, additive manufacturing, certification and traceability, urban mobility, the human factor in autopilots, diversity and career planning. But more important: I met a group of women who are keen to help each other grow and be part of the change we want to see”, says Julia Radius.

On the 27th of November 2019 Julia will interview Maggie Philbin (CEO Teentech) live on stage during the IAWA 2019 European Leadership Forum.
