EEMCS congratulates Miro Zeman with his Royal Distinction

Today, Professor Miro Zeman received a Royal Distinction. The so-called lintje is a reward for someone who has done something special for Dutch society. Miro received this recognition because of the extraordinary contribution he has made, both nationally and internationally, to a sustainable energy supply.

By educating a future generation of engineers and attracting internationally renowned experts, Miro plays an important role in the energy transition: a long-term process to bring about structural changes in energy generation and use. Under the inspiring leadership of Miro, the ESE department has grown into an indispensable link in the realisation of a sustainable energy supply.
