NWO TTW funding for reduction energy consumption in airliners

The Propulsion and Power group of TU Delft is partnering with Aeronamic, a Dutch aerospace company, and five other companies operating in the Netherlands, to develop a disruptive technology that will greatly reduce the energy consumption on board of airliners. The title of the project lead by Piero Colonna, Full Professor Propulsion and Power is: ‘Novel Electrically Driven Environmental Control System for Aircraft.’

The Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research NWO announced funding from their Open Technology Programme for this research. Start date: 1 January 2019. Project leader: Piero Colonna, Full Professor Propulsion and Power at the faculty of Aerospace Engineering, TU Delft.
