Piet Van Mieghem has received a certificate from the Christoffel Plantin Foundation

Piet Van Mieghem, professor with a Chair in Telecommunication Networks and chairman of the Network Architectures & Services Group, has received from the Belgian Ambassador Chris Hoornaert, a certificate of the Christoffel Plantin Foundation.

This foundation recognizes and honors Belgians residing abroad, whose work contribute to the prestige of Belgium and deserve the attention of their compatriots. Piet has received this certificate for his scientific merits in his field of Network Science for modeling and analysis of complex networks (such as infrastructural, biological, brain and social networks) and for his work on routing algorithms in communications networks.
