TU Delft’s Faculty Aerospace Engineering has strong ties with the Brazilian aviation industry and research institutions such as Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA) and University of Sao Paulo at São Carlos, Institute for Technological Research of the State of São Paulo (IPT) and The National Institute for Space Research (INPE). Areas of cooperation include materials efficiency, biofuels and aircraft design.

In 2021, the Aerospace Engineering Faculty and Embraer signed a MoU. TU Delft and Embraer’s collaboration on the transition to sustainable aviation is also supported by the recently-funded Aviation in Transition Dutch National Growth Fund Proposal, including additional partners Royal Schiphol Group, Aerospace Netherlands, SkyNRG, and Royal NLR.
