Machine Learning Teachers Community

TU Delft is on an important mission: to make AI education available to all students. Since AI has now become woven into the fabric of our everyday lives, it is ever-more important to equip students with an innovative AI education. Driven by this goal, educators at TU Delft are joining forces to ensure that students gain an in-depth understanding of machine learning.

Tom Viering and Gosia Migut, both driven Machine Learning educators, are co-founders of the TU Delft Machine Learning Teachers Community. This community is an accessible platform where teachers can collaborate, share resources, and learn from each other to drive educational excellence.

We want to build better relationships with other machine learning educators, so everyone knows who can answer questions, and everyone has what they need to share and collaborate more easily

Join the community

Teachers from all faculties involved in teaching machine learning courses are welcome to join regular meetings, where we facilitate knowledge exchange and community building by providing an accessible platform to share ideas. Send us an email to receive event invitations (ml-teaching-community@tudelft.nl), our personal contact details can be found below.

Shared educational resources

There are now more than 20 different machine learning and AI courses spread over the different AI faculties, and there is little to no collaboration between the different lecturers. Because of this, many topics and exercises are being reinvented. We are starting a working group Open Educational Resources for AI to investigate how we can develop a platform that encourages sharing and reuse of education materials, to save teachers time, effort and so that teachers can inspire each other. Are you interested? Send an email to Lalique Molenaar (L.L.Molenaar@tudelft.nl).
