Delft Designers win €10,000 science communications grant

What makes good scientific output? The conventional answer might be results, papers and publications. But there’s growing recognition for other forms of output too – not least science communication. This year the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) has introduced a pilot scheme to recognise and reward scientists active in science communication – including those from the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering (IDE).

The faculty’s proposal on the theme of AI and Digitisation is one of a number of successful TU Delft submissions. Congratulations to Professor Alessandro Bozzon, Assistant Professor Achilleas Psyllidis and Assistant Professor Willemijn Elkhuizen - the three lead scientists connected with this grant. Together they receive €10,000 which can be used to expand or enrich their science communications activities between now and June 2022.
