Collaborating on and in a relaxed working environment, where learning, innovating and excelling are paramount. A wonderful goal, but how do we achieve it for everyone? On 2 April, the fourth community dinner took place. Students and staff came together to share a meal, meet each other and discuss culture building, power and culture change.

On Tuesday 13 February, the third 'community dinner' revolved around artificial intelligence. A string of speakers, both BK researchers and third parties, told the 60 or so attendees about their experiences with AI.

About perceiving

In the first week of December, pencils and A4 sheets were laid out on the tables in the Ketelhuis during lunch break. Student and teachers were asked to draw the person sitting across from them. To unexpectedly connect with someone you don't know yet.

Purple Friday

Friday the 8th of December is Purple Friday, which invites us to pay attention to the LGBTI+ community. As dean of our faculty and chair of the TU Delft study climate steering board, I am delighted that Purple Friday is celebrated campus-wide to express the solidarity between us.
