On June 23, the event ' Delft Design for Diversity Thesis Award' takes place in the Berlage Room.
DIVERSITY, EQUITY, and INCLUSION are among the main societal values advanced by TU Delft in education and research. Diversity is a pilar of good science and epistemological justice.
Epistemological justice aims to challenge dominant epistemic frameworks and perspectives, while valuing and including diverse ways of knowing, marginalised voices, and underrepresented knowledge. Epistemological justice means that knowledge is more robust and innovative when it is produced from a multitude of worldviews, perspectives, and experiences.
Come celebrate and discuss Diversity Equity and Inclusion with us on FRIDAY 23 JUN at 16:00 at BOUWKUNDE (Berlagezaal 1) at the Delft Design for Diversity Thesis Award, when nine TU Delft alumni from BK, TBM, IO and Computer Sciences will present their ideas for diversity in several areas of research. Alumni will present their research ideas in short pitches, emphasizing DE&I and new perspectives on research at TU Delft.
