Safety by Design

The Lotte Asveld Group is part of a consortium working on the T-Tripp project. The ultimate aim of the project is to stimulate safe and responsible industrial biotechnology products. This requires a better translation between science and policy, so that societal needs and objectives are integrated in the innovation process. The project develops two tools to facilitate responsible innovation in the biotech industry: a protocol for inherently safe design and a serious game for biosafety and biosecurity.
