Holograms for Learning
TU Delft students and teachers alike, have been adversely affected by the online format of education due to the circumstances ushered by the current pandemic. Students report lacking social interaction in online classes while also finding it difficult to focus on and comprehend the teacher. Teaching is a social activity that depends on the interaction with the student which therefore, makes it difficult for the teacher to teach in such contexts. The HOLOLEARN project addresses this significant problem by using holographic technologies to enable classroom social interactions in online [but co-located] classrooms.
