- Your Sandbox already includes some inspirational materials for you to play with. Try out the activities, modify them, and see if they apply to your course.
- Invite a colleague into your Sandbox as a “student” to test out how some features will appear to your students. You can do the same for another colleague.
Testing in your Sandbox
As an employee of the TU Delft with a Brightspace account, you can request a Sandbox course within Brightspace for testing purposes via Teaching Support.
A Sandbox is a private space where you can test items without impacting your live course(s). In your Sandbox Course, you will have the Course Manager role that allows you to utilise and practice with all tools available in a regular Brightspace course. You could also add colleagues to your Sandbox with a student role for testing purposes.
Your Sandbox has the same features as any other course in Brightspace. It is the perfect place to try adding content, experimenting with quizzes, practising setting up the Gradebook and so much more. You can try out the available features without real students seeing it.
If you create something you want to use in your actual course, you can always export it from your Sandbox. There is another page that shows how to export and import items from one course to another.
