Student projects

Students play an important role in TU Delt’s space innovation, research and education. Delft Space Institute highly endorses space-related cross-faculty graduation projects for students. We actively develop interdisciplinary and interfaculty collaboration through Joint Interdisciplinary Projects (JIPs), primarily involving collaborative MSc and BSc thesis projects. Projects may comprise multiple smaller student projects around a common objective, topic or object, - embedded in one of the flagship projects - while they can also be stand-alone projects testing e.g. new theories or techniques. Projects may also be in collaboration with industry partners involved in Delft Space Institute, providing students with internship opportunities and enabling them to get their first work experience in the space sector before graduation.
