MyCase pilot information for staff
On this page you can find step-by-step information on the procedure and what is expected of you as a staff member involved in the graduation project of a student that is participating in the pilot of MyCase CEG. We would first and foremost like to thank you for your efforts. We know that participating in the pilot means a bit of extra work for you but with your help we are able to get sufficient data and feedback to optimize the system which is essential for this project.
Following the regular procedure is mandatory for students
It is good to be aware that all students participating in the pilot also have to follow the current thesis procedure of their MSc programme. Registration in MyCase and partaking in the pilot is additional to this procedure and is meant for testing purposes only. Students can find al the forms for the current thesis procedure of their MSc programme on this page.
Access to MyCase
As this is a pilot, all staff needs to be manually added to MyCase. The student is responsible for sending us the names of their supervisors and assessors. Once we have received this information and added them to the system we will send confirmation with instructions for MyCase to all involved staff members. After that you can log-in to MyCase via https://mycase.tudelft.nl by using your NetID and password. If you are a supervisor or assessor and have not received this confirmation, please contact us via mycase-ceg@tudelft.nl . You can also contact us on this address if you are experiencing issues logging in.
What are my tasks in MyCase?
Your tasks in MyCase depend on your role in the graduation project of the student. Responsible supervisors or chairs of assessment committees have more tasks in the system than for example a second supervisor or assessor. As staff your job is mainly to review the information and documentation that the student submits during set moments. These moments are divided into a preparation phase, kick-off phase, mid-term phase, green-light phase and finalization phase. You can find your task for each phase in the manual for staff. Furthermore it is essential that we receive your feedback.
Please give us feedback
To optimize the system, fix bugs, and make it as user friendly as possible, we need your feedback during the pilot. There is a feedback button in the system that you can use. Instruction on how to give feedback can be found in the manual. More information on giving correct feedback and what is done with your feedback can be found on this page.
