Education

Students and PhDs at TU Delft are driven to build robots and invent new robotic applications. The institute offers specialized education to prepare them for this mission, emphasizing multidisciplinary skills in mechanical and electrical engineering, computer science, ethics and more. To kickstart their journey, the TU- Delft and the Delft Robotics Institute provide a Masters Programme, Honours Programmes and Minors and a Graduate School.

Interest in joining other students who are passionate about robotics? The TU Delft Robotics Student Association (RSA) brings all robotics enthusiasts together. Visit their website for more information.

The MSc Robotics program combines mechanical engineering and AI, equipping graduates to lead in industrial robotization. Students will learn how to model, design, and control robotic systems, how to analyse, evaluate, and validate robotic systems in complex environments, and how to relate scientific knowledge to robotic systems, by critically considering their interaction with societal aspects.

Related Masters

Besides the Robotics MSc programme, the TU Delft offers other Master programmes in the field of robotics:

Related Bachelor programmes

The TU Delft does currently not offer any specific robotics bachelor programmes. Students who aspire studying robotics often choose one of the following BSc programmes:

The Minor Robotics program engages third-year BSc students from various disciplines in multidisciplinary projects, culminating in the design and construction of robots for real-world applications.

Related Minors

Other robotics related minor are offered at TU Delft as well:

Mirte (Mirte, an Inspiring Robot for Technology Education) is a new addition to the world of educational robots. Robotics is an excellent tool for teaching STEM subjects due to its multidisciplinary nature. We provide a line of educational robots that spans from elementary school to Phd level.
