Admission and application for international applicants
Admission requirements
All applicants have to fulfil the minimal TU Delft admission requirements.
Academic background
For admission to this particular programme applicants need to have obtained an engineering bachelor degree in or closely related to:
- Aerospace Engineering
- (Applied) Physics
- Applied Earth Sciences
- Chemical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
Applications will be assessed by the admission committee based on the performance and study load of at least 100 ECTS in key engineering subjects, of which at least 20 ECTS in mathematics subjects. The key engineering subjects for the SET master programme are defined as:
- Mathematics (Calculus, Linear Algebra, Numerical Analysis, Differential Equations)
- Physics (mainly Thermodynamics, Classical Mechanics)
- Chemistry
- Transport phenomena
- Electrical circuits
Application procedure
Applicants who meet the above requirements can apply for admission by following the TU Delft application procedure.
In case of capacity issues a cap may be installed on applications from non-EER students.
