Mission

To improve treatment of skeletal diseases through development of advanced functional biomaterials and implants that replace and/or enable regeneration of damaged tissues.

Vision

We will develop multifunctional biomaterials and biofabrication techniques to treat complex bone defects, to provide optimal osseointegration of implants, and to battle infection. In addition, we will develop advanced biomechanical models to optimize the design of (patient-specific) implants.
