Profiel
Deger Ozkaramanli is assistant professor in design ethics at the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering, Delft University of Technology. She is fascinated by the richness of dilemmas as a multidisciplinary concept. That’s why she has developed the Dilemma-Driven Design method, which she still pursues in studying the ethical qualities of design methods. More specifically, she critically examines the ethical questions and moral dilemmas that arise in transdisciplinary settings in which design increasingly operates. Deger teaches social design and leads the Design Research Society Special Interest Group on Design Ethics with an international and interdisciplinary team of conveners.
