Education: Integrate Delft Global into TU Delft education programmes and intensify “maker space” education, digital learning and capacity building in target countries. Entrepreneurship: A research and training programme on how to become an entrepreneur in low-resource countries together with Innovation & Impact Centre, Delft Centre for Entrepreneurship, YES!Delft.

Become a TU Delft | Global Initiative Fellow

Are you in the first two years of your PhD? Is your research focused on finding a solution for a problem faced by people/communities in low-resource settings in Low-and-Middle-IncomeCountries (LMICs) in primarily Sub-Saharan Africa or South(east) Asia? Then you might be eligible to become a TU Delft | Global Initiative Fellow*!

Sub-Saharan Africa Excellence Scholarships

These scholarships give talented, motivated and broadly interested students from Sub-Saharan Africa the opportunity to study at the Delft University of Technology. TU Delft | Global Initiative offers four Sub-Saharan Africa Excellence Scholarships every year. From the students we expect that they are willing to act as our ambassadors during their studies and after graduation.

ACHI Project: Horticulture in Ghana for a brighter future

This project is a Ghanaian-Dutch cooperation to bring about a growth in the Ghanaian horticulture sector. The TU Delft together with the Kwadaso Agricultural College will develop a 6-months vocational training program in the agricultural sector in close collaboration with a selection of lead farmers and agricultural companies in Kumasi, Ghana.

Navigating the Future: Building resilient deltas in Vietnam

Learn more about our projects in Vietnam! Since 1998 Delft University of Technology started a collaboration with universities, researchers and students in Vietnam. Being well known for its beautiful delta areas (the Red River delta and the Mekong delta), research has focussed mainly on the fields of hydraulic engineering, coastal systems and water management. The long-standing relationship between the Dutch and Vietnamese universities has resulted in exchange of knowledge and many inspiring developments and projects so far.
