100 DAYS OF... Students Taking Responbility | Education Conversation | 10 December
This Education Conversation will be an open discussion on how to foster environments where students take responsibility for their own learning.
Using the Fishbowl Discussion format, we will explore statements related to student responsibility and reflect on their implications for TU Delft education.
Whether you are new to the concept of Students Taking Responsibility or have more experience, this session will offer valuable insights, allowing you to learn from others, whether by contributing or simply by listening.
Topics for discussion may include:
- Student autonomy is only effective if students are naturally motivated.
- Giving students too many choices overwhelms them rather than empowering them.
- Autonomy without structure leads to frustration and disengagement which is undesired in education.
