You're currently in one of the fine arts studios in the cultural section of the building. We offer a variety of other studios, including ones for pottery, screen printing, fashion design, woodworking, and photography (complete with a darkroom).
Each academic quarter, we host courses in these studios to help you master the specific crafts they cater to. Additionally, we have Open Studio hours every Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. During these times, the studios are accessible, and you're encouraged to work on your own creative projects, with the guidance of an Open Studio Assistant.
Fun fact: In this section of the building, you'll also come across the Freetown Kitchen area, where you can cook and share a meal with your friends. There is also a Living Room, where you can hang out and chill. Upstairs, you will also find a Contemplation Room. Here, you can retreat for a moment of private meditation or reflection. These facilities are open to all students and employees of the TU Delft.
