Photography means writing with light. There is basically very little difference between analogue and digital photography. Analogue photography uses a camera and a roll of light-sensitive film, whereas digital photography replaces the light-sensitive film with a sensor that records light signals on a memory card. This gives digital photography the advantage that the photographer can view, check and edit the result that has been recorded.

Embark on a captivating journey into the world of photography with our immersive course designed for enthusiasts of all levels. Whether you're using a digital camera, an analogue camera, or even a smartphone, you're welcome to join us and explore the fundamental aspects of photography.

During this course you will learn:

  • Understanding Your Camera: Delve into the mechanics of both analogue and digital cameras. Learn how to make the most of your equipment.
  • The Language of Imagery: Discover the principles of visual communication. Understand how images convey messages and emotions.
  • Image Processing: Gain insights into how we perceive images in our minds. Learn about traditional darkroom techniques for analogue photos and modern editing skills for digital images.
  • Composition: Master the art of framing and composing your shots to create visually compelling photographs.
  • Lighting Techniques: Explore how light works and how to manipulate it to enhance your photos.

This course is about more than just technical know-how; it's an exploration of the artistic and intellectual aspects of photography. Your active participation and curiosity are key as we  dive into both the theoretical and practical elements of creating, editing, and understanding images.

Don’t miss out on this exceptional opportunity to expand your photography skills and knowledge. Whether you're a beginner looking to learn the basics or an intermediate photographer aiming to refine your craft, this course offers something for everyone!
