Once every two months on a Friday, from 20:30 – 22:30, students will get the chance to take the stage during this Open Mic event in Cafe X.This night is open to all performances. Sing a song, recite a poem, do a dance, show us your best drag-show, make us laugh with stand-up comedy; we want to see and hear it all as long as you can perform it in 10 minutes or less and you can do it with 1 to 4 people. Stick to the theme, or go your own way - anything goes!

Rules:

• You can perform anything you like. Sing a song, read a poem, play a tune, do some stand-up comedy. We want it all! We like to hear your own creations, but covers are also allowed. 
• We will provide 2 microphones for singers, a digital piano, a basic drum kit (kick, snare, hi-hat), cagon, guitar amp and bass amp. Please bring your own instruments or borrow one from the hosts at the meeting point. Expanding the drum kit is not allowed.
• No more than 4 people per performance. The stage is very small. Please keep this in mind when planning your performance.
• Performers get 10 minutes of stage time incl. setting up, introductions, tuning, getting in the zone. This gives everyone room for roughly 2 songs and some background info about yourself and your performance.
• The performance order will be decided on the night. Performers will be expected to arrive before the start of the event to receive their timeslot. We (and your fellow performers) appreciate it if you stick around to watch and support each other.
• Audience members can join for free, but full = full.
