The Makerspace is part of the TU Delft Science Centre. This is a workspace that helps people bring their creative ideas to life. Among other things, it is equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters and you can mill, solder and more. From February 2024, the Makerspace will be part of X's Open Studios.

In this inspiring course, you will discover the fascinating world of the Makerspace. Here you will learn to work with various advanced machines, materials and techniques. Immerse yourself in the control software and learn to operate everything from 3D printers and laser cutters to milling machines with a skilful hand.

You will work on a unique piece in which you will eventually combine all the techniques you have learned, discovering the endless possibilities of art. Unleash your creativity and develop your skills in an environment brimming with possibilities! This course is suitable for anyone that likes to work with machines and is curious and creative.

With all the knowledge you gain during this introductory course, you can also work independently in the workspace during the Open Studio days on weekends.
