1. Logo

For S&C, the following logo variations may be used:

2. Typography

Three different fonts may be used for the TU Delft/S&C corporate design, namely:

Arial
This is used in body texts and headlines in the regular version. Arial Bold may be used for subheadings, and then in the same size as the body text. In exceptional cases, and only in consultation with the Communication department, Arial may be used in capitals.

TU Delft Ultralight
This font is used at TU Delft only in its regular version and in headlines with letters larger than 24pt. At S&C, the font may also be used for headlines of less than 24pt. in Bold. This font has no standard Bold option in Adobe programs (Illustrator, InDesign, etc.); it can be made into Bold manually using a ‘stroke’, as shown below.

Font size

Line width (stroke)

20 t/m 29 pt

0.5 pt

30 t/m 35 pt

0.75 pt

36 t/m 48 pt

1 pt

Important: Colour stroke is the same as colour of font. Line width of the stroke cannot be altered in InDesign.

TU Delft Ultralight is not included in the Microsoft Office package as standard, but can be downloaded under the ‘downloads’ tab.

Georgia
The Georgia font can be used in special cases. This can be in the form of a quote, box text, or column.
If there is a heading above the box text, the heading must be set in Arial.
