All day at Lijm & Cultuur, a 10-minute walk from the campus.
What is blended education?
Good question! Blended education is learning through a deliberate, integrated combination of online and face-to-face learning activities. This means that you, for example, start your course with a short introduction in class, follow up with an online activity, and review this online activity in class again.
Why is a balanced blend of activities important in today’s education?
Having a mix of different learning activities in your course that build on top of each other is a proven way to make learning more effective.
What is the purpose of BlendFest and for whom is it designed?
TU Delft wants to support lecturers of all levels, from PhD candidate to full professor, with practical sessions that help them prepare their education for the next academic year. Plus, talking about education with your peers in a relaxed setting improves teaching, so Teaching & Learning Services (TLS) loved to organize an event to do just that!
