Teaching-Support and Faculties’ Education advice teams enter a new phase of collaboration
Sometimes it feels like at TUDelft that the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. In 2021 the One-Stop-Shop project was started to fix exactly that with regards to education affairs for lecturers. A year later that culminated in a central point of contact where lecturers can get all the support regarding education that they need: the Teaching-Support service and website.
Teaching-Support works as the entry point to any form of support in your role as a lecturer and is staffed by people ready to help you directly, as fast and accurately as possible. One of the other support services you can access is the educational advice and quality assurance teams of your own faculty.
Earlier this year TLS (the department that manages Teaching-Support) delivered an advice for closer coordination with the faculties, which was very well received. Now, each faculty has a tailored entrance to their own lecturer facing services, directly from the Teaching-Support landing page. As each faculty has lecture facing services often layered deep within the organization, this will help you find your own faculty’s services even faster.
This new era of collaboration makes both faculty and central services more robust, accessible and agile. As their relationship strengthens, so does their service offering to you, the lecturer. TLS is now helping the faculties continue to develop their own digital support environments as well, to make the journey of the support seeking lecturer seamless!
