TU Delft Campus Vision 2040

The Campus Vision 2040 recently was unveiled by TU Delft. This comprehensive vision, rooted in existing perspectives from users and stakeholders, paints a vivid picture of what the campus will look like in 2040.  

The Campus Vision 2040 is built on five fundamental principles that will guide its development: sustainability, digitization, shifting fields of research, valorization, and the growth and change of the campus population. These principles emphasize TU Delft's commitment to being a transformative force in building the city of the future. 

The vision unfolds through five dynamic perspectives, each contributing to a holistic and inclusive environment: 

City Integration: The campus is an integral part of Delft, a multifunctional space where people live, work, and enjoy life. 

Green Interaction: Encouraging social encounters and personal development through green public spaces. 

Innovation Ecosystem: Fostering interaction and cooperation, creating a vibrant ecosystem where teaching, research, and innovation converge. 

Inclusivity: A place where students, employees, businesses, and Delft residents feel at home. 

Adaptability: Buildings and public spaces designed for modification, ensuring vibrancy throughout the week, day, evening, and weekend. 

In 2040, TU Delft's campus will not only be a center for academic excellence but a thriving community contributing to the city and the wider region.
