To acquaint you with your Teaching Lab, we would like to welcome all TU Delft lecturers and educational support staff to join our personalized tour to find out how you can make use of this fantastic facility and be supported in achieving your teaching goals.
Education is constantly evolving and TU Delft is one of the front runners in innovation in education. By making use of these developments and by evolving, testing and sharing your own innovations within our education community, we can continue to offer our students the best education. In order to support this goal the Teaching Lab, opened its doors in September 2017 as education innovation hub: a testbed for lecturers. The Lab offers innovative spaces, multi-purpose meeting rooms and relaxed work spaces for lecturers to use. Moreover, it offers TU Delft lecturers the chance to experiment with the latest digital technologies such as Nureva – a brainstorming, multi-user collaboration tool, Cisco WebEx, an on-demand collaboration and teleconferencing tool and the DIY Studio, our mini fully equipped recording studio.
In addition to all facilities, you will get to know the Teaching Lab staff with whom you may well collaborate in the future. The tour will also delve into the rationale behind the creation of the Teaching Academy and Teaching Lab as well as a brief history of educational developments at TU Delft. All of this will be accompanied by good coffee and a light lunch.
