Biography
Kees learned the trade of real estate maintenance management at social housing corporations in the Rotterdam area. Through the years the corporations all merged into Havensteder, Vestia and Woonbron. As a consultant, mostly in the same field, his experience widened to strategic real estate management and maintenance for House Owners Associations and HOA-managers. He became a lecturer too, at different companies: e.g. Building Engineering for non engineers, Condition Assessment conf. NEN 2767, Porfoliomanagement and - policies, and Maintenance for HOA's and HOA-managers. In 2018 Kees entered service at Delft University of Technology, department Campus and Real Estate as a Senior Asset Manager. From the start of 2022 he has the rle of Real Estate Policy Officer.
Projects
2018-2019 Development of apolicy for management of the monumental real estate in the TU Delft portfolio.
2018-2020 Project manager in research and composition of a 'conservation management plan' for the Aula Building by researchers from the Faculty of Architecture, with a grant awarded by the Getty Foundation, Los Angeles, USA.
