Biography
I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), an Associate Researcher at German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS), and an Affiliated Researcher at United Nations University-Maastricht Economic and Social Research Institute on Innovation and Technology (UNU-MERIT).
Before joining TU Delft, I worked and consulted for different institutions such as the German Institute for Development and Sustainability (IDOS), German Institute for Economic Research (DIW), Kiel Institute for World Economy (IfW), European Center for Economic Research (ZEW), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), World Bank, African Development Bank (AfDB), European Commission, NODAC Consulting and International Finance Corporation (IFC).
I hold a PhD in Economics from Maastricht University. My primary research interests are in International Trade, Global Value Chains & Production Networks, Structural Transformation and Sustainable Investments.
