Biography

Yuanyuan Xu is a Ph.D. candidate in the Safety and Security Science Group under the supervision of Prof.dr.ir. G.L.L. Genserik Reniers. She graduated from Xi'an University of Science and Technology (XUST) with a bachelor's degree in safety engineering and science. She received her master degree from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), where she mainly worked on fire prevention and risk assessment for hydrogen power plants. Now she mainly works on fundamental risk research, dealing with generic risk concepts, definitions, theories, and models of risk analysis fields.
