Biography

Liz Verbeek is a scientific programmer at the Policy Analysis section of the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management - Delft University of Technology. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and a master’s degree in Computational Science from the University of Amsterdam.  
Within the Policy Analysis section, she is part of the SC3 team ( http://www.sc3.center/) led by professor Tatiana Filatova. The SC3 team combines methods from social sciences - economics, psychology, sociology, geography - with computational models of societies to explore the effects of climate change adaptation. As the scientific programmer of the SC3 team, her main focus lies on the development, optimization and scalability of agent-based models.
