Working Method During the Module
When you participate in the module TEACH, you will work on the UTQ competence Teaching.
This module encourages exploration and experimentation with diverse teaching approaches.
Participants discuss strategies to identify what works best for their teaching practice and assess how these methods impact student learning. Collaborative learning is central to the experience: participants are invited to share their best and worst practices, exchange feedback, and learn with and from each other.
Additionally, you will design a real-life lesson tailored to your students. The trainer will observe one of your lessons and provide feedback aligned with your personal teaching goals.
- Blended learning: Combining face-to-face instruction with online learning.
- Flipped classroom: Participants prepare for sessions by studying theory and completing. tasks before engaging in hands-on practice during live sessions.
- Number of sessions: 4 + observation lesson.
- Study load: 30 hours (on average).
- Language: English, unless all participants speak Dutch.
Certificate
A certificate for TEACH is granted upon attending all sessions and successfully completing the Proof of Competence.
