On 22 October, the sixth debate in the 'Making the Circular Built Environment a Reality' series focuses on the cultural dimensions of transitioning to a circular built environment. This conversation introduces a fresh viewpoint on cultural heritage, focusing on historical and aesthetic values embedded in materials.

These annual awards recognise the contribution BK graduation students make to the transition towards a circular built environment.

On 9 July, the fifth debate in the 'Making the Circular Built Environment a Reality' series will explore the transformative potential of transitioning to a circular society within the Eurodelta region. Institutes, organisations and individuals are invited to participate in this interactive session.

On 14 December Tillmann Klein and Martijn Veerman will give the Urban Energy Institute lecture 'Façade as a Service'.

The symposium aims to engage a number of colleagues in a discussion about our current pedagogical approaches for circularity, but also about ways we can go about for teaching in times of uncertainty.

On 13 October the winners of the Circularity in the Built Environment Graduation Award 2021-2022 will be announced. This annual award recognizes the contribution BK graduation students make to the transition towards a circular built environment and aims to stimulate research and innovation in the field of circularity in the built environment.

During the past year, a series of actions have been put in place to support the integration of circularity in BK curricula. The official launch of the Circular Impulse Initiative program will take place on 16 September. A short presentation of all the actions of the Circular Impulse Initiative has been scheduled and will be followed by drinks.

The Circular Built Environment Hub of the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment will host the Summer School on Circularity in the Built Environment.
