Özge Okur is currently an Assistant Professor at Systems Engineering section at the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management. Her position has an emphasis on education. She pursued her PhD at Delft University of Technology, and obtained her Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Aalto University in Finland.
Her research aims to understand which factors encourage people to engage in sustainable energy behaviour (adopting renewable energy technologies, participating in an energy community, performing energy efficiency measures, changing behaviour to reduce total energy demand and to match the available energy supply, etc). In addition, she is also interested in understanding different interventions to promote sustainable energy behaviour.
