After a period of online education, we are happy to meet you on campus again. Our lectures are offered on campus. We follow the guidelines of the government in terms of corona. As there are no measures in place at the moment, we would like to see you live in our lectures and working groups. In the unlikely event that it becomes necessary, you will be informed via your student email, Brightspace and the TU Delft homepage, among others.

The online study guide contains information about each subject that you will take, for example the number of teaching hours, the period in which the subject will be taught, a description of the content and the manner of testing. In addition, on the TU website's student portal you will find the so-called module maps. These cards show a schematic representation of your programme, giving you a good idea of the themes that will be covered in the next three years.

Through the online study guide you can find the study material needed for your subjects. Books can best be purchased from the study association, W.I.S.V. 'Christiaan Huygens' (CH).

Yes, it is mandatory to have a laptop, not only to study at home but also for practicals and projects at the TU. You can buy your laptop through the TU, but you can also buy it yourself, as long as it meets the necessary specifications. These specifications can be found here. The laptops that are offered through the TU Laptop Project are both sufficient for your course. Do you still have doubts or questions? Please contact the Student IT Desk Drebbelweg.

Every programme at the TU has its own study association. TW students are together with Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) students in the association W.I.S.V. 'Christiaan Huygens' (or: CH). The study association organises fun and interesting activities throughout the year. As a member you also get a discount if you order your books through them and you can go there if you have questions or comments about the education. You do not have to become a member, but we recommend it!

The TW programme has a mentorship. This focuses on study skills, but also on getting to know each other, the faculty and TU Delft.
There is also a study advisor with whom you can discuss your progress, study planning and other plans. Even if you have a functional impairment that makes studying difficult, for example a physical disability, AD(H)D, ASD or dyslexia, you can contact the study advisor for advice on the possibilities for supporting you.
There are also quarterly meetings in which the programme director looks back on the past quarter. We also look ahead at what's on the programme for the coming quarter.
If your studies are not going well, let us know in time! We have many facilities at TU Delft that you can use to make your studies a success. You can schedule an appointment with our study advisor Nadia Palliser via this link. You can also check out this website for essential study skills. Start at number 1 'Learning how to study'.
