Profile
Profile
I am a PhD candidate at the department of Geoscience & Remote Sensing since September 2021. I did my master at the same department and my master thesis was about the InSAR displacement vector decomposition. I am happy to continue doing research in the field of geodesy and InSAR. My PhD focuses on modelling the deep and shallow subsurface in Groningen with InSAR.
Research
My research is part of the DeepNL - Subsidence project which studies and quantifies the displacements in Groningen due to the gas extraction. My work focuses on the improvement of the geodetic model and the parameter estimation using InSAR observations. In particular, this involves the improvement of the spatial and temporal variability estimation and the separation of the ‘deep’ and ‘shallow’ processes using InSAR.
