Profile
Vesna Poprcova is a PhD candidate in Affect-Sensitive Systems for Social Anxiety Support supervised by Prof. dr. Frances Brazier, Prof. dr. Martijn Warnier, and Dr. ir. Iulia Lefter. She is part of the System Engineering Section, Multi-Actor Systems Department, at the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management (TPM) of the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft).

Academic background
Vesna holds a MSc degree in Automation, Robotics, and System Engineering and a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering with a major in Computer Science from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Macedonia. She was an early stage researcher on the EU-funded projects SOCRATES - Social Cognitive Robotics in European Society, and XPERO - Learning by Experimentation. Her previous research experience includes emotion recognition, combining reasoning by analogy and inductive logic programming, and optimizing larger search problems relevant to robotics. In addition to her academic work, she gained industry experience as a data engineer.
